In modded there are very few occasions where you transfer a world from one version to another, and going from 1.7.10 to 1.10.2 will be impossible due to the surmounting changes that the vanilla game underwent in that time. They share the Infinity brand because that is what FTB has decided their 'kitchen sink' pack will be called, but they are completely different packs.
Trying to directly compare these two modpacks is a bad idea.
